Responsibilities of Authors:
- Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, accurate, and appropriately cite all sources.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and financial support related to their work.
- All listed authors should have significantly contributed to the research and approve the final manuscript.
Responsibilities of Editors:
- Editors are responsible for making impartial and confidential decisions on submitted manuscripts based solely on scientific merit.
- Editors must ensure fair peer review, handle ethical complaints appropriately, and avoid any conflicts of interest.
Responsibilities of Reviewers:
- Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.
- Reviewers should respect confidentiality and must not use unpublished material for their own research.
- Any conflicts of interest that could affect the review process must be disclosed.
Plagiarism Policy:
CJS applies a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts containing significant plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be rejected immediately.
Handling of Misconduct:
Cases of suspected research misconduct, including plagiarism, falsification, and ethical breaches, will be thoroughly investigated following COPE guidelines. Appropriate corrective actions, including retraction or correction of published articles, will be taken when necessary.
Ethical Considerations in Human and Animal Studies:
- Research involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and must have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee.
- Animal research must adhere to internationally accepted standards for the humane treatment of animals.
